Grow Your Faith in Jesus by Growing in the Word of God
The Bible is the best way to grow your faith in Jesus. There's just no way around it: the Bible is the bedrock for your faith in Jesus as a Christian. As we see in Noah’s story, studying the Bible helped Noah discover more about God, His ways, His laws, His character, and His forgiveness. In one season, Noah even spent several hours per day listening to the Bible at work, renewing his mind and growing closer to Jesus in the process.
For Christians, the Bible is the living word of God, not just an ancient book that’s good for us to read. Your faith in Jesus Christ is like a muscle – it needs to be strengthened. And the Bible is what helps you grow your spiritual muscles. The Bible helps you grow your faith in God and get to know Him at the same time. Because the Bible’s words are living, the Lord transforms you from the inside out as you read the scriptures.

Grow Your Faith in Jesus by Committing to Obedience
Wondering how to strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ? The answer is simple: do what He says and live obedient to Him. As you read the Bible and discover more about what Jesus is like, you’ll become more like Jesus in the process.
Depending on your upbringing, obedience can feel like a scary word. In the Christian context, obedience to God is good, encouraged, and expected when you become a follower of Jesus. Growing your faith in God looks like forsaking the ways of the world and submitting to the ways of God. Even though it may feel uncomfortable sometimes, living obedient to God is essential t to growing your faith and strengthening your relationship with God.
You can think about obedience like this: God knows better than we do, so it’s best to follow His ways instead of our own. So, when Jesus says to forgive those who have hurt you, it’s for your benefit and the praise of God that you do so. When Jesus says to bless those who persecute you, even though it may feel impossible, when you choose to be obedient to God in this way, you make the world look a bit more like heaven in the process. And as we heard in Noah’s interview on the podcast, when he chose to follow the call of God to go to Uganda for a missions trip, even though it felt scary and new, he chose to be obedient to God regardless. While there, Noah was able to serve the poor, help those in need, and receive God’s heart for the nations all in the same moment.
Obedience to God is a good thing, and it’s one of the easiest ways to grow your faith in Jesus. And often, growing your faith in Jesus looks like taking the hard steps to become more like Jesus rather than just reading about Him.

Grow Your Faith in Jesus By Becoming a Disciple of Jesus
Do you know what the word disciple means? The definition of disciple is a person who actively follows, learns from, and helps spread the teachings of a leader. However, in the Christian context, being a disciple means following Jesus every day and actively bringing others into the joy of knowing Him.
Jesus’ model of discipleship was simple: His disciples would make more disciples. One of the easiest ways to grow your faith in Jesus and strengthen your relationship with God is to share the Gospel (i.e., the Good News!) with others. But discipleship doesn’t just mean sharing the Gospel with them; it means walking with them, doing life with them, and helping them along their journey of growing their faith in Jesus.
